CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The first snow of the season fell on the Kanawha Valley Tuesday morning. The National Weather Service said the cold front that brought the snow in should exit this afternoon, though lingering snow showers will still be possible Tuesday night in to Wednesday, as moisture from Lake Erie is transported into the state, mostly to its northern counties.
