Mark Bowe, owner of the White Sulphur Springs-based Antique Cabins and Barns, travels the country deconstructing old log buildings, reconditioning the lumber and reassembling the pieces.
Antique Cabins and Barns employees Johnny Jett, left, and Sherman Thompson, right, help deconstruct a cabin allegedly built by Abraham Lincoln's uncle, Josiah, around 1830. Wood from the structure was later used to build a new cabin in Virginia.
Members of the Antique Cabins and Barns crew from left, Brian Buckner, Tim Rose, Jett, Bowe and Thompson are the focus of a new show, "Barnwood Builders," which could soon be granted a full season on the DIY Network.
