Train the trainer classes available for diabetes management
The West Virginia Medical Institute's Everyone with Diabetes Counties program will provide Train-the-Trainer classes, which certifies people to teach diabetes classes in their communities. Anyone over 18 years of age can participate in the free training. Each class graduate will be certified to train for two years.
Classes will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25 and March 4 at the West Virginia Medical Institute, 200 Association Drive, Suite 200.
Classes will also be held from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. on March 6, 13 and 20 at the Glenwood Retirement Village, 1924 Glenwood Park Road, Princeton.
