CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A traffic stop over littering led to an arrest for heroin possession, authorities said.
Christopher Strick, 32, of Edgewood Drive was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Charleston.
Strick was a passenger in a vehicle detectives with the Metro Drug Unit stopped for littering, according to a complaint filed in Kanawha Magistrate Court. Detectives found heroin in his possession.
Strick later told police he had been selling the drugs.
Strick was charged with possession of heroin with intent to deliver. He was released Tuesday from South Central Regional Jail on $500 cash bond.
