A Putnam County man is facing a felony driving under the influence charge after a crash in St. Albans.
St. Albans police were dispatched just before 7 a.m. Thursday to a vehicle crash at the intersection of Third Street and U.S. 60.
No one was injured in the crash but one of the drivers, identified as David B. Wilcox, 54, of Poca, had the odor of alcohol on his breath, Capt. James Agee said in a news release.
Wilcox was arrested after his performance on field sobriety tests, Agee said. Officers checked into his background and found two previous convictions for DUI and two pending DUI cases from earlier this year.
He was charged with third offense DUI, a felony. He was free on bond Thursday afternoon.
