Three people were injured in a multiple vehicle crash on Corridor G near Southridge Centre.
It happened about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, 911 dispatchers said. A vehicle rear-ended another vehicle in the southbound lanes of Corridor G near Parkway Road.
No injuries resulted from that crash.
Both vehicles still were in the road when a third car crashed into the rear of the second, injuring three people inside of that car, dispatchers said.
Those three people were taken to Charleston Area Medical Center's General Hospital.
The southbound lanes of Corridor G were closed while emergency crews worked at the scene.
South Charleston police are investigating the crash.
