Elkview man arrested after shoplifting
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- An Elkview man has been arrested in connection with shoplifting at a Kmart store over the weekend, said Capt. Sean Crosier of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office.
Sean Bland, 22, allegedly took electronic items from the store at 2:30 p.m. Saturday when he was chased by a loss prevention officer and fled in a car, Crosier said.
Deputy B.K. Howery responded to the call on Saturday and arrested Bland at his residence where stolen cell phone chargers were recovered, Crosier said.
The deputy learned that Bland also was wanted on four felony charges, two charges of fraudulent use of an access device, and two counts of computer fraud.
Bland is lodged in the South Central Regional Jail and bail has been set at $25,000, according to the jail website.
