Four arrested after meth lab discovered in home near Sissonville
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Four people were arrested early Friday on charges of attempting to operate a meth lab, said Cpl. Brian Humphreys of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were responding to a tip about a stolen vehicle when they went to 1576 Clearview Heights Road near Sissonville where they discovered evidence of a meth lab, he said. A search warrant was obtained and meth lab technicians responded to collect evidence. The stolen vehicle was also recovered.
Those who were arrested were Steven M. Henson, 26, Edward C. Lyons, 29, Michael A. Beane, 19, and Keith E. Nichols, 19. All four are lodged in South Central Regional Jail with bail set at $25,000 each.
The house belonged to Henson's grandparents who were sleeping in the home, Humphreys said.
Lyons was also wanted on felony probation violation charges related to a separate clandestine lab, Humphreys said.
