Resident illegally possessed firearm

A South Charleston man faces up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to illegally possessing a firearm.

Scott Allen Perry, 42, was indicted by a federal grand jury in October. He admitted that in July he had a shotgun that was not registered to him. He will be sentenced in April by U.S. District Judge John Copenhaver.
