The driver of a car struck by a train in Pratt on Friday morning refused treatment from medics, a Kanawha County dispatcher said.
The car was sitting on the tracks at the Center Street crossing when a slow-moving train struck it at about 9:10 a.m., the dispatcher said. The driver, who was in the car at the time, was not injured, the dispatcher said.
The train knocked the vehicle clear of the tracks. The driver was the only occupant in the vehicle, the dispatcher said.
The accident scene is clear and the train was not blocking the crossing as of 9:40 a.m., the dispatcher said.Kanawha County deputies were also on scene.
