A South Charleston man is in custody after violating court-ordered home confinement, said Cpl. B.D. Humphreys of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office.
Robert Wayne Cole, 20, left his South Charleston residence on Feb. 6 and did not return. Acting on a tip, law enforcement officers went to Slack's Trailer Park near Big Chimney on Tuesday and found Cole inside a residence beneath a stack of dirty clothes.
Cole was initially placed on the home confinement program after violating probation on multiple counts of breaking and entering.He is now in South Central Regional Jail awaiting a hearing on home confinement violation. A charge of escape from an alternative sentencing program will be sought.
