But Fields allegedly discovered a small plastic baggy containing what he believed to be marijuana.
Pryor then reached into his pants pocket and pulled out a small white pill container.
He then attempted to dump the green, leafy substance officers believe was marijuana onto the ground, according to the report. Fields ordered Pryor to stop and grabbed the container.
An additional pat down revealed 8 grams of marijuana in three separate plastic bags, according to the report.
Officers also found two small pill bottles containing prescription anxiety medication on Pryor. The two bottles contained a total of eight pills, according to the report.
Upon searching the car, officers discovered a new motor vehicle inspection sticker above the driver side visor, according to the report.
A check revealed the inspection sticker had been stolen.
Pryor told officers he did not need medical attention. He was taken to Kanawha County Magistrate Court to be arraigned. He had not posted bond as of Thursday evening and was taken to South Central Regional Jail.The children on the bus were checked by Charleston Fire Department paramedics and were released from the scene, the dispatcher with Kanawha 911 said.
