Trial has been postponed for a man accused of sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl.
Charles Brainard Hogan, 57, of Dolores Drive, was arrested Aug. 22. The arrest came after reports of abuse surfaced when the child was being treated at Charleston Area Medical Center.
He is charged with sexual assault, sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or person in position of trust, incest, sexual abuse and distribution and display of obscene matter.
He has been held without bond at South Central Regional Jail since his arrest.
Hogan was expected to go on trial this week before Kanawha Circuit Judge Paul Zakaib. The judge agreed to reschedule that trial for June 17.
