CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia State Police canceled an Amber Alert for a 16-year-old girl and her baby Wednesday morning.
Authorities believed Tuesday that the pair had possibly been abducted by the girl's stepfather.
They said Wednesday that perpetrators were in custody, but had no further information to share. A statement from State Police is expected later Wednesday morning.
Shaina Nicole Tenney, 16, and her 7-month-old daughter, Grace Hope Tenney were reportedly abducted from a home in the Rock Cave area of Upshur County Tuesday by Shaina's stepfather, Margel Tenney, according to the alert.
Authorities believed he was headed to Texas.
