A man who seriously injured an employee at the Valvoline store in Kanawha City last June has pleaded guilty to unlawful assault.
Michael Dwaine Mosley, 22, of South Park Road was arrested after he got into a fight with Josh Harper near the business. Harper was injured when his head was shoved onto the ground.
Mosley gave a detailed account of the altercation that began between him and others at a nearby convenience store. He said Harper came out to attempt to break up the heated argument.
A prosecutor said Mosley "picked him up and slammed him headfirst onto the concrete." Harper suffered a serious head injury in the incident.Mosley will be sentenced in June.
