CHARLESTON, W.Va. - A tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led police to a Parkersburg man who allegedly shared child pornography.
Parkersburg detectives arrested Emory Kelley Terrell, 38, of Pike Street Friday after receiving a tip from the national organization regarding a person uploading child porn, Parkersburg Sgt. Greg Collins said in a release.
Detective T.P. Wolfe conducted an investigation that culminated in a search warrant executed at Terrell's Pike Street home in South Parkersburg. Numerous electronic devices were taken from the home to be analyzed.
Terrell was indicted earlier this month by a Wood grand jury on seven felony counts of distribution of child porn and one felony count of possession of child porn.
He posted a $25,000 bond in Wood Circuit Court Friday and remains free on bond.
Detectives still are investigating.
