Authorities are searching for an Institute man in connection with a felony charge of wanton endangerment, said Sgt. Tony Hazelett, of the Charleston Police Department.
About 3 a.m. Thursday, police responded to a report of shots being fired on the West Side in the 1800 block of Seventh Avenue. Antwain Means, 24, was stopped in the vicinity and charged with public intoxication. After further investigation of evidence and statements from witnesses, the Criminal Investigation Division is charging Means with the felony charge of wanton endangerment.There is now an active warrant out for his arrest.
