CAMERON, W.Va. (AP) - Police say a body found in Cameron could be that of an inmate who escaped while on work release.
Marshall County Sheriff Kevin Cecil tells WTRF-TV (http://bit.ly/11WpyzE ) that clothes on the body match the description of clothes worn by Derek Midcap when he was last seen.
Cecil says the body has been sent to the state Medical Examiner's Office for identification.
Midcap didn't return to the Northern Regional Jail from work release on June 13.
The body was found Monday night on Hart's Run.
