CHARLESTON, W.Va. - A Charleston man has been sentenced to 18 years in federal prison for distribution of crack cocaine.
James T. Washington, 35, pleaded guilty in November. According to United States Attorney Booth Goodwin, Washington sold the drug in July and August to an undercover agent working with the Metropolitan Drug Enforcement Unit.
A subsequent search of his vehicle revealed 241 grams of crack cocaine.
