PRINCETON, W.Va. -- A railroad trestle and part of a street in Princeton are closed after an excavator hit the trestle.
Acting Princeton police chief J.W. Howell tells media outlets that the excavator was being hauled on a flatbed trailer when the accident occurred Monday.
Howell says the impact shifted portions of the trestle out of place. Trains are being rerouted and a section of Rogers Street is closed.
No injuries were reported.
