An abandoned house along Cabin Creek Road was destroyed by an early morning fire on Tuesday, said C.W. Sigman, Kanawha County fire coordinator.
At one time, methamphetamine was made inside the house, he said.
Debris was pulled from it and the house was set on fire, he said.
"It was definitely arson," he said.Firefighters from the Cabin Creek and East Bank volunteer fire departments responded to the call 3:45 a.m. Tuesday. The house is near Sharon Dawes Elementary School, he said.
