CHARLESTON, W.Va. - No injuries were reported in a three-vehicle crash involving two tour buses carrying Boy Scouts heading to the National Boy Scout Jamboree in southern West Virginia.
It happened just before 9 a.m. Monday on Interstate 64 eastbound in the curve after the Oakwood Road exit, Kanawha Metro 911 dispatchers said. When Charleston police arrived they found two tour buses and a vehicle on the side of the road.
A Charleston police officer said there were more than 100 passengers on the buses, including some Boy Scouts heading to the Jamboree. He said it took time to get statements from all of those in the buses and in the vehicle.
