Charleston police will be present during a South Hills community meeting this evening.
Councilwoman Mary Jean Davis and South Hills resident Sara Hoblitzell are putting on the meeting.
The meeting will start at 7 p.m. and will be held at Mathes Hall in St. Matthews Episcopal Church at 46 Norwood Road.There have been a few burglaries in the area along with some instances of vandalism, said Sgt. Tony Hazelett, assistant chief of detectives. Officers will be on hand to answer any questions residents may have.
