Two men accused of attempted murder after a shooting at a West Side restaurant have had their trial delayed.
Kanawha Circuit Judge Charles King agreed to postpone the trial for Robert Smith and Jon Paul Clements and scheduled it for Nov. 4. The two men were recently indicted by a grand jury.
Robert Jared Smith and Jon Paul Clements allegedly shot two people near Seoul Restaurant in March. That shooting is believed to have been retaliation for the murder of David Booker last year.Clements appeared in court Monday; however, Smith is in federal custody following his arrest on unrelated weapons and robbery charges.
