Roane County man accused of making terroristic threat
SPENCER, W.Va. — A Roane County man has been charged with making a terroristic threat after allegedly making a comment on social media about "grabbing a gun and clearing a classroom."
Roane County sheriff's deputies arrested 34-year-old Shayne Workman of Amma on Thursday.
Deputies tell WOWK-TV (http://bit.ly/17sd9HU) that Workman's wife filed a domestic violence petition after reading a Facebook post from her husband that said, "that is grabbing a gun and clearing a classroom, and would leave me alive and free to continue my work."
Workman was being held on $150,000 bond Friday in the Central Regional Jail.
It wasn't immediately clear whether Workman has an attorney or whether he was targeting a specific school. A message left with the sheriff's department wasn't immediately returned.
