A warrant has been obtained for a man deputies believe may have robbed a patron at the Cross Lanes McDonalds.
Just after 3 p.m. on Tuesday, a robbery was reported to have occurred in the restroom of the fast-food restaurant on Big Tyler Road.
The victim, a 27-year-old man, told Corporal C.E. O'Neal that he was robbed by Robert Marshall, 23, of Cross Lanes. He said Marshall talked to him before he went into the restroom and knew he had cash. The victim alleged that once inside the restroom, Marshall grabbed him around his neck and stole the cash from his pockets. No weapon was brandished or used during the robbery.
O'Neal couldn't find Marshall to question him about the incident, and later obtained a warrant for robbery through Kanawha County Magistrate Court.Anyone with information on Marshall's whereabouts is asked to call 304-357-0169 or submit a tip at www.kanawhasheriff.us.
