Four vehicles on Charleston's West Side were scratched with a sharp object over the weekend, said Sgt. Tony Hazelett, assistant chief of detectives.
The vandalism occurred sometime Saturday night or Sunday morning.
One suspect is in custody and more arrests are expected as the investigation continues, he said.The cars that were scratched were in the area of Summit Drive and Viewmont. At least eight cars have been broken into on the West Side within the last three weeks.
