A Calhoun County man faces multiple felony charges for allegedly molesting two young girls.
Corey Lee Metheney, 32, of Chloe, was arrested Sunday.
Metheney allegedly touched the girls in November 2012 while temporarily serving as their guardian, according to a criminal complaint.
An 11-year-old girl told a Child Protective Services worker that Metheney undressed her, pushed her onto her bed and then climbed on top of her and touched her, the complaint said. The girl, who was 10 at the time of the incidents, said he also performed oral sex on her multiple times.
A 5-year-old girl also in the home told a psychologist Metheney touched her genitals multiple times.
The incidents occurred in Calhoun County while the girls' mother was out of the home. Both girls told authorities that they told their mother about the incidents but that she didn't do anything about it.
Metheney is charged with two counts of sexual abuse by a guardian, and two counts of child abuse creating the risk of injury.
He is being held at Northern Regional Jail on $60,000 bond.
