A 34-year-old St. Albans woman was struck and killed by a vehicle just before 8 p.m. on Thursday, authorities said.
Angela Oxley was walking eastbound along MacCorkle Avenue near Arborland Acres when she was struck by an eastbound ford F-150 truck, said Sgt. Michael Baylous, spokesman for the West Virginia State Police.
"She was wearing dark clothing and walking on the traveled portion of the road," Baylous said. "She had with her a teenage daughter who was pulling a younger daughter in a wagon. They were uninjured."
Trooper J.A. Roach responded to the call.
"The driver stopped and it appears to be an accident," Baylous said.
