Authorities arrested 11 wanted on domestic violence and family court warrants.
Kanawha sheriff's deputies sought those with active warrants from Kanawha County Family Court and domestic violence court Wednesday, Cpl. Brian Humphreys said in a statement.
Those arrested were: Dustin Songer, 31, of Institute, domestic assault and obstructing an officer; William Atkins, 51, of St. Albans, failure to pay child support; Curtis Givens, 24, of Belle, domestic assault and battery; Thomas Gillispie, 35, of Nitro, failure to pay child support; Gary Ingram, 43, of Miami, domestic battery; Raymond Kidd, 56, Chelyan, domestic battery; Steven Johnson, 21, of South Charleston, failure to pay child support; Brandon Wheatlet, 25, of Clendenin, two counts of domestic battery, burglary and fleeing; Stephanie Edwards, 52, of Charleston, failure to pay child support; Lonnie Marshall, 36, of Charleston, failure to pay child support; Joshua Tolley, 25, of Charleston, domestic battery.The warrants are available at www.kanawhasheriff.us. Those with information on the whereabouts of a wanted person can leave an anonymous tip on the website.
