A Monongalia County man was arrested after a string of alleged acts over the past few months that included throwing a beer can through a window and using a stolen credit card.
Officers arrested Danny Eugene Robertson, 37, of Granville Tuesday on several charges including unlawful wounding, destruction of property and nine counts of credit card fraud, according to a statement issued by Morgantown police.
Robertson allegedly threw at least one beer can through the window of a home on Sept. 25. The cans broke the glass and the person inside was cut with flying glass and debris, police said.
Officers also believe he used a credit card stolen from a vehicle on July 25. The victim in that case reported his wallet stolen from his vehicle.
Police found while investigating that the victim's card had been used at a number of locations. Robertson was identified as the person using the card.
Monongalia County Sheriff's Department may file additional charges against him.Robertson is being held at North Central Regional Jail on $16,000 bond.
