A Charleston man accused of sexually assaulting young girls in Clay County is facing multiple felony charges.
Kevin Ray Bryant, 25, of Kanawha Boulevard was arrested Monday.
State Police Cpl. R.R. Cervera spoke to Bryant on Nov. 13 at the State Police detachment in Quincy after a month-long joint investigation with the Kanawha Sheriff's Department.
The victims in the matter are 5 years old and 10 years old, according to a criminal complaint filed in Clay Magistrate Court. Both incidents occurred in May 2013 at a home on Winesap Lane near Clendenin, just over the Clay County line.
Bryant told the trooper that he went into the 5-year-old's bedroom at night and touched her genitals, the complaint said. He said he also rubbed himself over her.
He said he went into the 10-year-old girl's bedroom on four different occasions and touched the genitals.
He was charged with five counts of felony first-degree sexual assault. He's being held at Central Regional Jail on $250,000 bond.
